WHY IS HYDROCARBON-FREE NITROGEN IMPORTANT?
Ein Kohlenwasserstoff-Abscheider verbessert die Gasqualität erheblich. Das ist u.a. bei der GC-Analyse sehr wichtig. Der Abscheider gewährleistet hochreines Ausgangsgas (99,9999 % bzw. 6,0 Grad) mit einem Restfeuchtegehalt von <0,05 ppm und sorgt damit für eine zuverlässige Analyse.
Separators are an essential part of GC analysis, as impurities in gases can significantly affect the quality of the results. Hydrocarbons can lead to problems such as background noise, altered peak shapes, false positive results or poorer consumption efficiency.
You can actively counteract this with our optional hydrocarbon separator.
Nitrogen generators for your analytical applications
PSA technology is the ideal method for high purity levels and is used in our (U)HP1A and (U)HP2A models.
Pressure swing adsorption (PSA) separates nitrogen molecules from oxygen molecules by adsorbing the oxygen from the compressed air stream. Adsorption takes place when molecules bind to an adsorbent. In this case, the oxygen molecules bind to a carbon molecular sieve.
Efficient nitrogen separation ensures a reduced overall air requirement and at the same time guarantees the production of high-purity nitrogen. The result is lower real operating costs and a reduced carbon footprint.
Thanks to its compact dimensions, the nitrogen generator can be installed under the workbench to save space.
